Karl Lagerfeld at His Best at Chanel

Article by: Laura Yarborough

Karl Lagerfeld never seems to amaze us with such vitality and sheer genius as director of Chanel, with his persist work as a designer. He has clearly proven himself as an innovative designer for not just his own label, but Chanel and Fendi. Lagerfeld, 78, is just as creative as ever and it clearly shows throughout his work.

Even though, in the past, Lagerfeld believed that Coco Chanel would not be please with his work. He has truly proven that to be only a myth, because his talent speaks for itself.

And the label’s chairman would have to agree, “Karl Lagerfeld is showing “no sign of slowing down” as the creative director of Chanel, says Pavlovsky.

In fact, Bruno states, “I think she’d say she is very proud. She should be very satisfied with the way Karl has reinterpreted the things she created.”

According to The Daily Yomiuri, a Japanese newspaper, Bruno Pavlovsky states “He’s amazing. Karl just keeps coming up with new things, and he has an impressive ability to bring together talented people and get working as a team.”

He also believes Lagerfeld still wows Chanel with new designs and ideas that make him an asset to the fashion house. Bruno has no plans of getting rid of the fashion designer.

“He shows no sign of slowing down. That’s why the thought of changing our head designer hasn’t even crossed my mind. I think the match between Karl and Chanel and our energy has helped us put together new collections and many revolutionary events.”

Karl loves his job and prefers to focus on work rather than taking a break. Therefore, he puts all his energy into his creations. The designer even tells UK magazine Grazia, “I don’t go to the beach to wait for inspiration. You get brown and dumb there.”

With that being said, we look forward to more great for the fashion house Chanel and of course, Karl Lagerfeld.
